Sounds too good to be true - is it?
It isn’t! You actually get your own professional designer you’ll get to know by name to help you with all your design needs for a flat-rate monthly fee. No strings. No contracts. Commercially driven design at a fraction of the price.
I just signed up. Now what?
Once you sign up for a plan you will be directed to sign in to the ‘Lobby’ – our dedicated, simple to use request app. You’ll fill in a short questionnaire so we can get an understanding of your business. There you can upload any brand assets you have, including logos, images, colour schemes or a style guide.
Inside the Lobby you can request a job from a selection of pre-determined sizes across a range of media, or you can input a custom request. We’ll be in touch pronto to introduce you to your designer and then you’re underway! You have direct contact, so fire any questions or revisions you have to them. If you have any trouble (which we’re confident you won’t!), just flick an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to get any support you need.
Alternatively, just pop a question into the little ‘Tawk’ box on the bottom right of any window on the main website to get immediate help.
My designer and my brand?
Our designers understand that great design comes from not only a great brief, but a thorough understanding of your business and its target audience. Upon receiving your questionnaire information, your designer researches your business, your brand and its competitors and gains a detailed insight into your design needs. This creates a synergy between your brand and designer, making for stunning, commercially-driven work, on brand and on time.
What if I stop then restart my plan? Can I still access my designer?
We will always endeavour to place your previous designer back on to your brand. But in the event that this may not be possible, your backlog of design work and business information is on file for a new designer to quickly get up to speed with.
What are your turnaround times?
Every request is different. The more complex a request, the longer it will generally take. A simple request, we’ll get it to you pronto, and have something amazing back to you within one to two business days!
A great piece of design is always the outcome of a great brief! Give as much information as you can in your request – go so far as to attach examples of other pieces of work from Google images (right click on an image and download it to your desktop, then attach it) – we won’t copy it, but it gives your designer an excellent indication of what creative styles you like and/or what you’re after. You’ll quickly get into a groove with your designer and they’ll read your mind soon enough!
How much design can I expect a day?
There’s no hard and fast rule, but you can usually expect something like one of the following:
• 1 single sided event flyer/poster
• 1 five plate Facebook carousel
• 1 Google ad in 8 sizes
• 5 branded Instagram quotes
• 1 simple infographic
If you feel you may need more design per day, you can purchase more subscriptions that double or triple your daily design output. If you need more than that, just let us know!
What are Design Republik's business hours?
8.30am – 5.30pm AWST
Monday – Friday.
How long do revisions take?
We’ll do them as quickly as possible whilst still maintaining an agency standard of design excellence. Usually you’ll see your revised work in around 24 hours.
What do you mean by unlimited?
It means as many designs and as many revisions as you want – you have your own designer! Bear in mind we are only human though. We will attack one task, send it to you and start on the next as you check through the previous design. All within one to two business days (trust us, that’s quicker than your average advertising or design agency). Your requests will go into a queue and we will work through them.
What's included in the price?
Aside from an extraordinary saving on the cost of design? (Seriously, have you seen the cost to access agencies and freelancers these days?) – the knowledge that all your design needs will be met and achieved with commercially creative, agency quality design! All work has strict quality control before it lands in front of you, guaranteed.
And for the beancounter in us all :), prices are in $ Australian dollars and include GST.
Who owns the design when completed?
You do. You have 100% ownership of the files the moment you receive them – name your format and we’ll get it to you.
What if I want to cancel?
If that happens, we’ll just assume that your business has taken off because of its incredible design and you can now afford Saatchi & Saatchi! But seriously, we understand that good things can come to an end. You’ll have access to the service right up until the end of your billing cycle.
Where are you and your designers located?
We call Perth home and we operate in AWST. Our designers are full-time Design Republik employees and work out of Perth and our offices in different timezones. Design Republik does not use freelancers nor do we outsource work to online markets – eww!.
What don’t you design?
We do a lot of design, probably more than most business’s will ever need – but there are some things that are outside of our scope, such as video or motion graphics, complex or fine art illustrations, fillable or interactive PDF documents, Photoshop art or complex photo manipulation, 3D / CAD, HTML / CSS / UI / UX, mobile or app design, programming/coding/development. But if you’re unsure – just ask your designer!
